The cd entitled Chakra Breathing Meditation by Layne Redmond is a wonderful meditation that energizesyour entire body. Layne teaches you how to do a full yogic breath. Then using breath focuses on energizing each chakra. The last part of the meditation is done synchronizing breath with walking and focusing on 7 of the chakras.
The practice this breathing meditation is to synchronize mind and body. She states” Our breathing patterns are a reflection of our state of mind… when breathing becomes calm the mind becomes calm.”
I have only tried this with people who practice meditation and everyone that has done it has loved it. I think that a person who is just beginning to meditate could follow this cd very easily.
